The roses were bitter on the days that I loved you.
Blooms grow piqued for biting wish,
Fidelity of an unremitting sentiment.
Music was hollow on the nights that I shed tears for you.
Bells were distrait,
Dreams were forbidding.
The days that I loved you were laced with penitence...
What was love but guilt and anguish?
Sentiment was but a paradox,
And the world was an alien to me.
All was lost on the days that I loved you,
All was wayward,
All was goodbye...

epic. i am speechless.
Wow, this poem is incredible. The use of imagery in this poem is crystal clear in my head. The tone was brought out beautifully, and the details were amazing. Keep it up.
